Svetielko Centre

Improving the lives of children with disabilities and of their families.
Project name
Svetielko Centre
Project manager
Mária Sarossyová

The lives of 300 children with disabilities and their families from Prešov, Trenčín and Bratislava are better thanks to Svetielko Centre. Since 2011 PROVIDA supports the project as co-founder and strategic partner. We met the founder, Mária Sárossyová, a mother of two children with complex disabilities, Zorka and Branko. We immediately decided to help her to establish the first Svetielko Centre.

Strong and caring parents are the foundation of work with children with disabilities. However, high-quality, complex rehabilitation, educational and social services are also vital. Svetielko Centre provides all of these services so children can improve their health and well-being and live a more dignified life together with their families.
